Publicis Loyalty has proudly been appointed by the Bureau of Meteorology to sell the 2008 weather calendars on their behalf.

The large format (A2), spiral-bound colour wall calendar features photographs of striking weather in Australia, tables of average weather conditions and information on the chosen theme. The calendar has been produced each year since 1985 by the Bureau of Meteorology and the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society as a not-for-profit project. The bureau provides complimentary copies of the calendar to its 7000 volunteer and cooperative weather observers, as well as emergency services, heads of Australian Missions, and national meteorological services overseas.

2008 AUSTRALIAN WEATHER CALENDAR

Calendar celebrates a Bureau of Meteorology century

The Bureau of Meteorology's 100 years of service to the Australian community is celebrated in the 2008 Australian Weather Calendar, available over the counter at selected bureau offices, and by mail order.

The price of calendars purchased at bureau offices remains at $12, and the price of mail-order copies sent within Australian stays at $17.50. However the prices of calendars sent overseas are less than last year. Scroll down the page for all the details. Of note is that the calendar can be purchased online this year.

The full-colour, large format (A2), spiral-bound wall calendar features photographs of striking weather events in Australia, and monthly tables of average weather conditions for 12 Australian cities and towns.

The calendar has been produced each year since 1985 by the Bureau of Meteorology and the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society as a not-for-profit publication. About 10,000 complimentary calendars are each year sent to volunteer and cooperative weather observers, emergency services, Australian Missions overseas, and national meteorological services.
